A healthy mouth is non-acidic, with a neutral or slightly alkaline state. A pH of 7.5 -8.5 is the ideal level for remineralisation (enamel repair). If the pH of your mouth is slightly acidic, it increases the chances of dental erosion. Sodium Bicarbonate, present in Kin Whitening Toothpaste, will increase the alkaline pH in your mouth. Combining this with 1000 ppm fluoride makes Kin Whitening a great choice for remineralising teeth and preventing dental cavities.
