Specially formulated cleaning agent for flexible appliances, FDC is supplied in boxes of 12 weekly-dose sachets, designed to last for approximately three months.

FDC Flexible Denture Cleaner is suitable for cleaning Valplast® Flexible Partials, Acrylic Dentures, Partial Dentures, Night Guards and Retainers.

This cleaner is supplied in single-dose sachets, so there's no need to weigh or measure the powder. FDC is mint flavoured for a fresh feel after cleaning.

Directions for use:
Empty one sachet of FDC™ Flexible Denture Cleaner into approximately 235ml (one cup) of warm water and allow the solution to stand for 3 minutes. Rinse the appliance under running water to remove food particles before placing it in the solution. If additional brushing is required, use a suitable specialist brush. Our FDC & Silicone Toothbrush package combines the cleaner with a suitable silicone toothbrush. Do not use toothpaste or a standard toothbrush on flexible dentures. Soak for 20 minutes daily, then rinse thoroughly under running water before placing it back in the mouth. For more stubborn staining or build-up, the appliance may be soaked overnight. The prepared solution lasts for 7–10 days.

Ingredients:
Potassium Peroxymonopersulfate, Citric Acid, Potassium Bisulphate, Magnesium Carbonate, Potassium Sulphate, Peppermint Extract, Potassium Peroxydisulphate, Sucrose.

Safety information:
Do not put the powder or mixed solution in the mouth. Keep away from eyes, children, coloured fabrics and surfaces. Dentures containing soft liners should not be soaked for more than 20 minutes per cleaning. Not recommended for appliances containing Ticonium® alloy. May discolour ceramic teeth and alloys with high silver content.

FDC is designed to help remove everyday staining and deposits from dentures, including stains caused by tea, coffee and tobacco, as well as plaque and tartar. For stubborn staining that does not improve with regular cleaning, your denture may need professional polishing by a dental laboratory or dental professional.


Yes. One sachet of FDC makes a cleaning solution that can be reused for daily soaking for approximately 7–10 days. Keep the solution in a suitable covered denture bath between uses and replace it with a fresh solution as directed.

Yes. Although a daily 15–20 minute soak is sufficient for routine use, your appliance can alternatively be soaked in FDC overnight.

Both are designed for cleaning flexible dentures. Val-Clean is a concentrated cleaner that is measured out in smaller quantities, with one box providing approximately a year's supply. FDC uses individual pre-measured sachets, making it a convenient alternative if you prefer not to measure the cleaner yourself.

Excellent product ,hubby has been using it for a couple of years now. Speedy dispatch and well packaged, as for the previous review regarding flat packing the boxes it’s a brilliant idea, thinking ‘outside the box’ 🙂 they are easily put back into their original box and the outer packaging is very robust.

I would rather the box fitted through the letterbox than have to go to pick it up from the sorting office if I’m not in. This is from a ‘customer perspective.’

Fine, and quickly sent, but not sure your practice of taking the sachets out of their boxes, flattening the boxes, then sending the individual sachets and flat packed boxes together in a flat parcel is a good one. I’m sure it saves a bit on postage but it doesn’t seem right from a customer perspective

Thank you for your feedback. Where possible, we do flatpack cleaners into an envelope box to allow for letterbox delivery; this does save a little on postage but more so it saves our customers the hassle of missed deliveries. Far too often customers struggle to make it to sorting offices or random neighbours to collect missed parcels & Royal Mail aren’t always very reliable with redeliveries. I’m sorry this isn’t to your liking; if you’d be happy to shop with us again please just drop us a message & we’ll be sure to send your order as a parcel instead.
