Dentures, like your own teeth, require good oral hygiene and care. Flexible dentures require different care from standard acrylic dentures, so it's important to use a cleaner suitable for flexible denture material.
Val-Clean Concentrated Denture Cleaner and FDC Flexible Denture Cleaner are both designed for flexible dentures, but there are two main practical differences: cost and convenience.
Choose Val-Clean if you want the more economical option for long-term daily use. Choose FDC if you prefer convenient pre-measured sachets with no measuring.
Both cleaners are designed for regular care of flexible partial dentures, but they differ in how the cleaning solution is measured and prepared, the recommended daily soak time and the amount supplied.
Val-Clean Concentrated Denture Cleaner is designed for Valplast flexible dentures and other suitable removable dental appliances.

Both are cleaners for flexible dentures, but they are supplied and prepared differently. Val-Clean is a concentrated cleaner that is measured from each sachet, while FDC provides a complete pre-measured sachet for each new cleaning solution.
Val-Clean is a concentrated cleaner developed for Valplast® flexible dentures. Each box contains 12 sachets and a measuring spoon, providing approximately one year's supply when used as directed.
Approximately ¼ sachet is mixed with 165ml / 5.5 fl oz of warm water. The solution is allowed to stand for approximately 3 minutes before use, and the denture is then soaked for 15 minutes each day.
Each prepared Val-Clean solution can be reused for 7–10 days, making it particularly economical for regular long-term use.
FDC Flexible Denture Cleaner is supplied in 12 individual pre-measured sachets. Each complete sachet is used to prepare a new cleaning solution, providing approximately three months' supply.
One sachet is mixed with approximately 235ml / one cup of warm water and allowed to stand for approximately 3 minutes. The flexible denture is then soaked for 20 minutes each day.
The prepared FDC solution can be reused for 7–10 days. Because there is no measuring required, FDC is a convenient option if you prefer simple pre-measured doses.
