Nitradine is the universal choice for cleaning and safely disinfecting all types of removable dental appliances including dentures, orthodontic retainers and biteguards. Nitradine comes in tablet form making it simple to use.

Recommended for all types of removable dental appliances in denture & orthodontic treatments:

Directions for Use

• Before using Nitradine®, brush, cleanse and rinse the dental appliance as usual.
  
• Immerse it in lukewarm water (approx.150ml) either in a Dental Bath or Sonic Denture Cleaner.
  
• Add one tablet to the water.
  
• Make sure the appliance is fully covered with water. For regular cleaning a 15 minute soak will be fine. To ensure that it's free of all viruses, soak the appliance for 1 hour in the solution.
  
• Remove the denture from the solution and rinse well under water before replacing the denture in the mouth. If a taste should remain after replacing it in your mouth, place the denture in lukewarm water for 10 more minutes.
  

Recommended dosage: Based on clinical testing, we recommend to begin the treatment with a daily use of the tablet for 21 days. This will ensure the reduction of the biofilm to a lower level. You can then adjust the usage based on your needs with a minimum usage of 2 times per week.

How it works?

All removable dentures and orthodontic appliances are made of porous material in which micro-organisms (fungi, bacteria and viruses) can infiltrate, attach and form biofilm. Without regular cleaning, this build up can eventually cause denture stomatitis (more commonly referred to as “denture thrush”).

Denture Stomatitis results in discomfort such as: burning sensations, soreness and generalized gum pain as well as cracked mouth corners (cheilitis) and bad breath (halitosis)

Candida albicans is one of the main causes of denture stomatitis and cannot be removed easily by every day denture cleansers. Nitradine® is scientifically proven to be highly effective in eliminating microbial biofilm from all types of synthetic polymers used for the manufacturing of dentures and removable orthodontic appliances.
