Dentists usually recommend a soft bristled toothbrush as they clean just as well as a medium bristle without the risks of over-vigorous brushing. Depending on how hard you brush your teeth, harder bristled brushes can damage your gums and tooth enamel.

A soft toothbrush can take a bit of time to get used to but overall it is much better for your teeth and gums. These toothbrushes have medium/soft bristles; a great start if you're used to a firmer bristle.
